Society Garlic

Have an area in full sun where grass is struggling to grow? Try Society Garlic which is a low-growing (2' tall), full-sun groundcover that will attract bees and butterflies with purple/white blossoms that resemble little violets.

It's not native to Texas but it loves our hot, dry climate. From the eastern region of South Africa, it's an evergreen in mild winters, slowly creeping and expanding to fill in.
