Purple Passionflower / Maypop

This 10-30 foot vine can cover a trellis or dome structure, or run along a pathway as a groundcover. Blooms in early summer all the way until fall frost. As a host plant, it will ensure lots of Gulf Fritillary butterflies find their way to the garden. Plants die back to the root and return with fresh shoots in the spring.
