The classic milkweed to bring the Monarch butterfly to the garden. Queen and Gray Hairstreak butterflies also lay eggs on this plant to feed their young. Very easy to grow more plants from seed by harvesting the seed pods in late fall. It’s leaves will attract aphids, which provides food for ladybugs and lacewings. That's a good thing.
