Lanceleaf Coreopsis

Bright, cheerful yellow blooms bring color to the garden for over 90 days in summer. Trim the spent blooms to encourage more flowers, or leave them for seeds to dry before harvesting to scatter elsewhere in the garden for more plants. Coreopsis does best in harsh, full sun on dry soil. On a Western facing slope with sun it would do very well. Avoid moist areas as the roots may rot, and the plant may grow too tall and flop over.
