A wonderful groundcover for moist, shady areas or morning-only sun, Golden Groundsel is one of the earliest spring bloomers (in mid-February) from very short basal leaves (3-6"). After blooming, the flower stems can be cut back to leave an evergreen groundcover underneath trees in dappled shade. It can do well in full sun so long as soil is moist. For drier soils, morning only sun is better. Learn more at the Native Plant Society and Native Gardeners
