Thriving in moist soil (along with Gregg's Mistflower and Giant Coneflower), Fall Obedient is a favorite of big bumblebees and hummingbirds. Flowers bloom in late summer for about 60 days. The plant spreads via rhizome underground, emerging in spring after winter. Starting with one plant, in a year or two your garden will fill in with many more volunteers you can dig, give to a neighbor, or relocate to other parts of the garden.
