Gulf Muhly

Gulf Muhly is now a Texas Superstar plant. It's a native grass that adds vertical interest to the garden, at 2-3 feet tall with a 1-2 foot bloom spike in fall that turns a beautiful purple hue. It's also a host plant for the Orange Skipperling..... a tiny butterfly that loves warm, sunny afternoons in a garden with plenty of blooming flowers to visit. Learn more at Native Plant Society.
