If you love the Black Eyed Susan flower, you'll love this slender cousin, called the Clasping Coneflower because of its leaves which whirl out and away from slender stems. It is an annual wildflower, but if you allow its seeds to dry and fall, it will likely return next year by reseeding in place. Learn more at Native Plant Society and Native Gardener.
