Blooming for about 60 days in spring, this is one of the largest native Texas buttercups, growing up to 3 feet tall (though 2 feet is more common and about as wide). Perfect for sunny, low areas where water gathers as it prefers moist soil. Similar to lantana, the leaves may cause minor skin irrigation and also should not be eaten (low toxicity).
