Earth Day 2026

A great flower for feeding birds, Black Eyed Susan is a prolific seed producer with blooms that offer 200+ days of bright yellow in the garden, from spring through fall. Start with a few, and allow it to self-seed for a thicker mass planting next year. Having a few of these in the garden will help bring butterflies like the Gorgone Checkerspot and Bordered Patch, who lay their eggs on this plant to feed their young.
