Four-Nerve Daisy

Native to West Texas, this is a great plant for hot, dry, sunny areas on a slope where water runs off and does not pool. Avoid planting it in low areas, where soil moisture in winter may rot the roots. A great plant that tolerates radiant heat near sidewalks and the street curb, it's low-growing at 12" tall and offers 100+ days of yellow blooms in early summer.
