Are you new to gardening? Or new to gardening with native plants? Check out the Master Gardener organization in your County for tips on creating your new garden. Your County AgriLife Extension office also may have upcoming events to help you learn more about WaterWise landscaping.
If you're an experienced gardener already, but want to explore more about Native Plants, check out your nearest Native Plant Society of Texas chapter. Their monthly chapter meetings are a great way to make new friends and learn more about the native plants of your bioregion.
Looking to volunteer your time to help preserve our wildlife habitat? Master Naturalists have many projects going on across North Texas, and it's a great way to meet other folks who are learning about native plants and using them in their home landscapes.
