To design your garden, you first need to measure your site and draw a layout on paper. Measure the entire size of your yard. Then draw it on paper (1 foot in the garden = 0.5 inch on paper, 2' garden = 1" paper). If your garden will be 10 feet by 15 feet, draw it on paper as 5 inches by 7.5 inches (1 foot = 0.50 inch).
